"Things Can Only Get Better" is a song I wrote with renowned author Stephen Dando-Collins for a musical based on his best selling book "Crack Hardy". The storyline concerns Stephen's great uncles who joined the Australian armed forces in World War I and this song is of the chaps all sitting round a fire trying to cheer themselves up. In these Coronavirus days it has a kind of relevance that we had not envisaged when Stephen and I wrote it.

My granddaughter Indigo turned 22 recently. Fourteen years ago I wrote a little birthday song for her and I thought I'd update it with some new lyrics to reflect the passage of time so here's "Indigo Blue" 2020.

This version is free now but will make it to my next solo CD so take it while you can.
